Mobility, balance and body awareness in one class. Open to everyone, no jiu-jitsu experience needed. Find us on Fridays from 6:15 to 7 pm.

Before we talk about techniques, you need to know where your hand is, where your foot is, where your neck is. That is true in jiu-jitsu and in life. When you feel at home in your body, you move more safely and feel better.
Body and mind shape each other: the body changes your state of mind, as you know from yoga, and the mind changes the body. In the Movement class you train exactly that connection.
Think of movement as a language. First you learn the alphabet, then you use it to build your own sentences. If you only memorise positions in jiu-jitsu, you carry ready-made sentences. When a question comes up that you have no ready answer for, you run out of words.
If you understand the language of your body, you can think and adapt, even in situations you have never practised. That is why movement is the best way to learn jiu-jitsu.
A class for mobility, core strength and a better feel for your own body. Inspired by Ginástica Natural, with elements from yoga and animal-inspired movements.
We practise concrete movement patterns you need in daily life and in jiu-jitsu.
We strengthen your core and train your balance.
We stretch and learn how your body works.
When you know your body, you do fewer reckless things and get hurt less.
You do not just store sequences, you learn to think and adapt.
